I take organization, pasta and 80’s pop music seriously, just like my sugar addiction. Speaking of sugar, there is one thing I do not sugar coat and that is my opinion, so be prepared if you ask for it (and sometimes even if you don’t).

You might also want to prepare yourself for random questions like, “Can you make a rain cloud indoors?” I can also astound you with my random knowledge of useless facts.

When I’m not updating spreadsheets about the books I want to read or my next international travel destination, you can find me in one of two places. The first location is the kitchen, where I’m trying out new dessert recipes that of course have chocolate. The second is my craftastic room where I sew and scrapbook.

• I do not like hot weather
• Some people might consider me “fiscally responsible”
• I only like happy endings to movies
• My middle name doesn’t count as a “real” middle name since it’s technically a last name
• I think going to the doctor is a waste of time, I’m a big fan of self-diagnosis
• I’m not very coordinated and at times will forget that I’m holding things
• Starch is my favorite food group
• My writing is short and concise because I’m an engineer – I don’t believe in superlatives.
